Portrait II

This piece is part of a series of three paintings in which I explore chromatic and emotional duality through portraiture. Measuring 24 x 29 cm, it is created with acrylic on 300gsm acid-free paper, ensuring long-lasting quality and professional finish.

The central figure is rendered in violet, a color often associated with introspection, spirituality, and ambiguity. Surrounding it are organic yellow forms, offering contrast through their energy, light, and movement. A turquoise background envelops the scene, bringing balance and depth.

This composition aims not only to create visual impact but also to invite reflection on inner dualities: light and shadow, strength and vulnerability, matter and emotion.

Each painting in the series is unique, yet they all share the same intention — to open a space for dialogue between color, form, and feeling.
